Mohammad Hashim Tajir Surma was established by Hakeem Mohammad Hashim in 1794 at Bareilly, India. With the meager facilities and limited resources available at that time, he and a handful of his loyalists aimed to mitigate the sufferings of their ailing community, and humanity at large.

Hashmi Group is headed by Mr. Mohammad Rashid Hashmi; Chief of Corporate Affairs, Mr. Zaheer Babar Hashmi looks after Research & Development and Quality Assurance, and Mr. Mohammad Amir Hashmi who takes care of International Exports.
